Overview

Everest Renjo Pass Gokyo Lake Trekking is assuredly one of the most stunning mountain treks in Nepal. The short route trek enables trekkers to discover the most famous beauties of Himalayas and mountains along with the green natural vegetation, and local settlements in the mountain region of Nepal. The Everest Renjo Pass Gokyo Lake Trekking is suitable for the people whole have limited time to watch the beauties of Himalayas. The trek takes you to the Khumbu region of Nepal which is known as the country of Sherpa people in Nepal. The trail to Gokyo goes straight up to the valley that passes through the patches of birch and rhododendron forest where you see the elusive musk deer. After reaching yak-grazing settlements, we reach the Gokyo lake.

Starting our Everest Renjo Pass Gokyo Lake Trekking from Kathmandu, we take a flight towards Lukla and then trek to Namche Bazaar. We follow the route of Tengboche and then descend towards Gokyo Valley. The Gokyo Peak is situated at the height of 5,480 m which is known as one of the major highlights of this circuit. We stop and observe the incredible scenery of different mountains including Everest (8,848 m), Makalu, Lhotse (8,511 m) and Cho Oyu (8,153 m). While in the way of Renjo Pass, we’ll observe the great view of Gokyo lakes on the side and Rermo Pokhara lakes on the other side. The myriad of snow peaks in the background provides exciting views of the atmosphere. After taking over Renjo Pass, we trek back to Namche Bazaar through the path of Lundhen. We again trek back to Lukla. Our trek ends back in Kathmandu.

Day by Day Itinerary

After your arrival in Kathmandu, a representative will pick you up and transfer you to a hotel. We’ll discuss the tour later. In the evening, you’ll be served special dinner that reflects the Nepali food culture.


Early in the morning, we take a flight towards Lukla above the large village of Chaunikharaka and some small villages, fields, and forests. After reaching Lukla, we begin our trek towards Phakding through a large stream and cross Dudh Koshi river. Overnight in Phakding.


Next day, we walk through the western bank of Dudh Koshi passing through forests of Blue Pine and reach up to Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is a small market town where the Sherpa people come to sell their goods every Saturday morning. Overnight in Namche Bazaar


Today, we have a rest and also explore the entire town of Namche Bazaar. We’ll have a short trek towards a museum that reflects the culture and tradition of Sherpa people. We hike towards a Khumjung village which is the biggest settlement of Sherpa people. We trek back to Namche Bazaar for overnight.


After a breakfast early in the morning, we have an enjoyable walk down to the river at Phunki Thanhka. We trek through steep roads and blue pine, fir and black juniper forests towards Tengboche Monastery which is the largest monastery in the area. Overnight in Tengboche.


From Tengboche, we descend towards Dole through the trail down to Dudh Koshi River. Overnight in Dole.


We’ll have a short walk through the safe trail towards Macherma. You can easily see the beautiful views of Gokyo from Macherma. Overnight in Macherma.


Another short climb leads to Phanga Valley and then towards Gokyo Lakes which offers excellent views of Cho Oyu ahead. Overnight in Gokyo.


We have a steep climb up to the top of Gokyo Ri. You can observe excellent views of supper Gokyo Valley and mountains including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and Gychung Kang. We trek back to Gokyo for overnight.


After an early breakfast, we trek towards Renjo Pass through the steep trail. We trek further towards Lundhen for overnight.


We continue our trek back to Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.


We’ll have a final trek towards Lukla. The place gives you the opportunity to explore the town and see the exciting views of different mountains. Overnight in Lukla.


Early in the morning, we take a flight towards Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, you can do some shopping for gifts for your family and friends. Overnight in Kathmandu.


Our tour comes to an end this day. A representative will help you with your final departure.
