The trail to Gokyo goes straight up to the valley that passes through the patches of birch and rhododendron forest where you see the elusive musk deer. After reaching yak-grazing settlements, we reach the Gokyo lake.
Starting our Everest Renjo Pass Gokyo Lake Trekking from Kathmandu, we take a flight towards Lukla and then trek to Namche Bazaar. We follow the route of Tengboche and then descend towards Gokyo Valley. The Gokyo Peak is situated at the height of 5,480 m which is known as one of the major highlights of this circuit. We stop and observe the incredible scenery of different mountains including Everest (8,848 m), Makalu, Lhotse (8,511 m) and Cho Oyu (8,153 m). While in the way of Renjo Pass, we’ll observe the great view of Gokyo lakes on the side and Rermo Pokhara lakes on the other side. The myriad of snow peaks in the background provides exciting views of the atmosphere. After taking over Renjo Pass, we trek back to Namche Bazaar through the path of Lundhen. We again trek back to Lukla. Our trek ends back in Kathmandu.
