Dhulikhel Namobuddha Hiking is said to be one of the major short hiking destination situated in the eastern part of Nepal and is about 32 KM away from the capital city, Kathmandu. The trek takes you to the panoramic mountain views, abundant temples, and several diverse varieties of landscape including a miscellany of people. You’ll observe the majestic view of Himalchuli, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Mt. Everest, Manaslu and many other mountains during Namobuddha hiking. We walk across the beautiful scenery of emerald hills, pine forest, different cultural villages and exciting mountain views in the hiking.

Early in the morning, we drive towards Dhulikhel from the hotel. The drive offers you the wonderful mountain panorama which makes you feel good. After we reach Dhulikhel, we start our trek towards Namobuddha. Namobuddha is known as a popular monastery in Nepal which is situated at the height of 1,750 m. The area is surrounded by the Tamang settlements. You can see a special Buddhist legend about King Mahasattva who is offering his body to a hungry tigress which makes Manobuddha a holy site for Buddhist people. You can see people growing rice, mustard, and millet in a beautiful hillside terraced farms while going through the day hike. The number of temples, variation in landscapes and diversity of people living in harmony will give you the exciting scenes in the area. After we finish our day hike to Namobuddha, we take about one and half hour drive back to Kathmandu.
