Overview

Dhampus is a village that lies in the Kaski District of Gandaki Zone of northern-central Nepal. Dhampus Australian Camp Trekking is said to be one of the easy family holiday treks that takes you to the Annapurna Conservation Area and different beautiful mountain views. This place is defined as one of the main entry points to Annapurna Base Camp. Dhampus village is situated at an altitude of 800 m. Dhampus Australian Camp is set on the outstanding hilltop that offers you striking views over awesome valleys and stunning views of Annapurna mountain ranges and its neighboring mountains.

The Dhampus Australian Camp Trekking starts after you arrive in Kathmandu. We drive towards Pokhara on the bank of the Trishuli River with stunning mountainous views by its side. The fight is another option to reach Pokhara which needs less time and you can explore Pokhara city more. After a drive towards Kande, our trek starts towards Australian Camp. The trail goes through the steep landscape and a stone staircase with incredible views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre and Lamjung Himal. We hike down towards jungle trail with different beautiful sounds of birds towards Dhamus Village.

The village is attractive with a number of slate-roofed houses. You can observe the unique culture and traditions of people living in the village which forces you to capture the moments on the camera. After Dhampus Village, we trek towards Phedi through terraced rice farmlands and reach Sarangkot which is the most beautiful place that offers you stunning sunrise view along with the brilliant mountain scenes; we enjoy our beautiful night in Pokhara. Our journey comes to an end back in Kathmandu.

Day by Day Itinerary

30 min from airport to hotel Bed & Breakfast 3 Star hotel or similar

As soon you arrive in Kathmandu, a representative will pick you up and transfer you to a hotel. We’ll discuss the tour later. In the evening, you will be served a special type of dinner that introduces Nepali food culture.


Drive 6-7 hrs, Flight 25 min Bed & Breakfast 3 Star hotel or similar

Early in the morning, we drive towards Pokhara on the bank of the Trishuli River with the beautiful mountainous view by its side. You can also reach Pokhara by flight which gives you beautiful Ariel views of different mountains and settlements. Overnight in Pokhara.


Drive 1 hrs, walk 2 hrs All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea-House / Lodge

The next morning, we drive towards Kande. Our trek towards Australian Camp starts from Kande through a stone staircase with the beautiful views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre and Lamjung Himal. Overnight in Australian Camp.


5-6 hrs Bed & Breakfast 3 Star hotel or similar

As the morning rises, we move towards Phedi through terraced rice farmlands and then after a small luxury trek, we reach Sarangkot. You can do different adventurous this including paragliding in Sarangkot. After the outstanding views of delightful Pokhara valley, we drive back to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.


3-4 hrs Bed & Breakfast 3 Star hotel or similar

Today, we explore different tourist’s places in Pokhara including Barahi Temple, The Shiva Cave, David falls, Fewa Lake and so on. After sightseeing in Pokhara we go back to our hotel for rest.


Drive 6-7 hrs, Flight 25 min Bed & Breakfast 3 Star hotel or similar

The next morning, we prepare for a drive towards Kathmandu. You can also reach Kathmandu by flight. This depends upon your choice. You can do some shopping after reaching Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.


30 min from hotel to airport Bed

Our 7 days tour towards Dhampus Australian Camp comes to an end this day. A representative will help you with your final departure.
